Micro, macro and a year of calculus must all be complete by the spring before transfer. UCLA strongly recommends finishing them by fall.
You must be admitted directly as Pre-Economics. You cannot change into Economics after admission.
General education: UCLA strongly encourages community college applicants to the College of Letters and Science to complete IGETC/Cal-GETC. It is not required.
