MATH 31B needs two De Anza courses
UCLA's MATH 31B is covered only by MATH 1B and MATH 1C together at De Anza, not either alone. Plan for at least three calculus quarters, all done by the spring before you transfer.
ECON 11 and ECON 41 wait until UCLA
De Anza has no course for either one, and UCLA's own checklist for Economics prep only names micro, macro and a year of calculus anyway.
Apply as Pre-Economics, not Economics
UCLA admits this major directly from the application. Once you're enrolled you cannot switch into Economics later, so list it correctly the first time.
