    How we measured this

    We checked every section in COD’s Fall 2026 class schedule repeatedly from Tuesday, June 30, 2026 to Wednesday, October 14, 2026. A section counts as full if any check found its enrollment at the seat limit or anyone on its waitlist. Cancelled sections and sections without a seat limit are left out. Classes that filled before our first check still count, because they were still full when we looked.

    In Fall 2026, the classes most likely to be full at COD were ETHN 001 (Intro to Ethnic Studies), CH 007 (Fundamentals of Chemistry), BI 013 (Anat & Phys I), HS 013 (General Nutrition) and FILM 001 (Intro to Film). Overall, 67% of COD’s class sections filled up.

    How do I get into a full class at COD?

    Get on the waitlist as soon as you can, check your email through the first week for a permission number or add code, and go to the first class meeting. Instructors often add waitlisted students who show up, as other students drop.

    When should I register at COD to get the classes I need?

    At your registration appointment, the first minute it opens. Spring 2027 registration at COD opens Monday, November 30, 2026 for continuing students. Have a backup section picked for every class on this list.
