A progressive analysis of The Standard American Diet as well as basic components of improved eating patterns are presented. This course does not advocate that you adopt a particular way of eating, as everyone has their own unique dietary needs and preferences. However, a wide variety of special diets and plant-based diet variations, along with the appropriate preparation methods, will be introduced, demonstrated and practiced.
