UCI's engineering school expects math, science, and engineering prep finished before Cal-GETC or its own GE pattern, and IGETC carries no weight in transfer selection.
Three semesters from MATH 141F
MATH 141F leads into MATH 151HF, then MATH 152HF: three semesters minimum before multivariable calculus. Start it your first term so physics isn't delayed.
Fullerton semesters, UCI quarters
Fullerton runs semesters and UCI runs quarters, so a single Fullerton course can cover two UCI quarters. MATH 251F alone clears both MATH 2D and MATH 2E.

Five requirements have no Fullerton match
Materials Science, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and both Introduction to Engineering courses have no Fullerton course on ASSIST. UCI doesn't require them for admission, so they're taken at UCI.
Fullerton's honors calculus counts the same
MATH 151HF and MATH 152HF clear the same UCI requirements as the standard MATH 151F and MATH 152F. Take whichever section fits your schedule.
MATH 252F covers two math requirements
MATH 252F satisfies both UCI's MATH 3A (linear algebra) and MATH 3D (differential equations). The alternative is two courses: MATH 172F or MATH 255F for linear algebra, plus MATH 260F for differential equations.

Does Fullerton MATH 151F transfer to UCI Mechanical Engineering?
Yes, or its honors version MATH 151HF. Either clears UCI's MATH 2A, continuing into MATH 152F and MATH 251F for the rest of the calculus sequence.
What doesn't Fullerton cover for UCI Mechanical Engineering?
Five of 22 requirements: Materials Science (ENGR 54), Dynamics (ENGRMAE 80), Thermodynamics (ENGRMAE 91), and ENGR 7A and ENGR 7B. No Fullerton course maps to any of them, and none is on UCI's admission list.
