    Description
    Builds on endurance, safety, and stewardship skills from hiking San Diego County parks and wilderness areas. Emphasizes safe trail practices including pre-hiking preparations, endurance training, and fuel and hydration selection. Students will be required to provide their own transportation to various hiking locations. Please note the DE component is designed to only include the lecture portion taught through distance education; the lab portion is designed as face-to-face. [D; CSU]
