    Description
    This is an introductory course to the wines of the New World. It will examine the major wine producing regions of South America, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and North America (other than California). The grape varietals, climates and geography of these regions will be examined. This course will explore the importance of the history and culture behind the wines produced in these regions. Students must bring six wine tasting glasses to each class. This course requires an additional $35 lab materials fee.
