Transfers ToCSUDescriptionA focused introduction to the wines of Monterey County, this short course highlights key grape varieties, winemaking styles, and the region’s unique climate and geology. Students will taste and evaluate representative wines from important local appellations, gaining insight into what makes Monterey wines distinctive. Includes field trips to select wineries and vineyards. Must be at least 21 years of age to enroll. Materials fees apply.
