    This course focuses on building a foundational understanding of coffee related to plant species, varietals, and cultivars, where it is grown and processed, and its journey from tree to cup. It gives a general overview of the specialty coffee supply chain and basic knowledge that a Barista needs to know about coffee, such as its history and cultivation, variables that affect coffee quality, the basics of sensory analysis, fundamentals of roasting, factors of coffee freshness, and principles of Brewing.
