    This course is designed to improve the beginning students' cardiorespiratory fitness as well as build core stabilization muscles. Students will discover how ball training provides an effective means for building core strength. Primary focus will be on development of the stabilizing muscles that are critical to posture and performance and their relationship to daily activities and cycling. Balance awareness and proprioception training will be introduced. Half of the class time will be devoted to cardiorespiratory training utilizing indoor cycling. Core stabilization, postural and kinesthetic awareness, will be emphasized both on and off the bike. *UC unit/course limit
