    Description
    A continuation of ES 005A emphasizing the development and model of an intermediate level of cardio-respiratory fitness and resistance training. Students will complete more physical challenging activities to achieve an intermediate level of cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength/endurance, body composition and flexibility. Exercise theories, training methods, nutritional influences on exercise and body composition, and injury prevention/treatment will be presented. A wide range of cardiovascular activities and resistance training equipment are utilized. Students will also learn the fundamental principles of physical fitness and their impact on life-long health and wellness. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-7B)
