Pick a language track, not both
UCI wants one full year of programming in a single object-oriented language. At OCC that's CS A150 then CS A250 in C++, or CS A131 then CS A231 in Python. Either pair satisfies admission on its own.
C++ reaches one course further
CS A150 and CS A250 together match all of I&C SCI 31, 32 and 33. The Python pair, CS A131 and CS A231, only reaches I&C SCI 32, so I&C SCI 33 credit would wait until after transfer.

OCC matches all eight options on UCI's approved list, including CS A200 for data structures, CS A216 for computer organization and CS A257 for Boolean algebra. CS A250 can't count twice if it's already in your C++ pair.

What does OCC not cover for UCI computer science?
If you take the Python track, CS A131 and CS A231, I&C SCI 33 has no OCC match and comes after transfer. The C++ track, CS A150 and CS A250, closes that gap on its own.
Is UCI computer science TAG eligible?
No. UCI's screening notes say no major in the Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences takes TAG students. Admission comes down to finishing the required courses with a B or better and a 3.0 GPA.
Does OCC CS A131 count toward UCI computer science?
