SDSU nursing runs on its own GE pattern instead of Cal-GETC, and three of the eight major prerequisites, oral communication, written communication and critical thinking, are GE courses graded C or better.
Five quarters before BIOL 26
CHEM 30A leads into BIOL 40A, BIOL 40B, BIOL 40C, then BIOL 26: five quarters minimum. SDSU wants every prerequisite finished by the end of fall 2026, so start CHEM 30A right away.
