Focus on theoretical and practical principles which facilitate or block effective private discourse including language, perception, culture, communication styles, conflict resolution, and communication climate. Students will apply Aristotelian proofs of rhetorical perspectives in researching, reasoning, organizing, and reporting accurate information pertaining to interpersonal communication theories and applications to prepare their presentations. Faculty evaluated, formal informative and persuasive class presentations are required in front of a live audience of faculty and students.
