    Description
Building on Adult Health I, this course focuses on the care of adult clients with more advanced health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Concepts of client-centered care, cultural sensitivity, informatics, safe practice, and professionalism are integrated throughout the course. Clinical experiences provide the intermediate student an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe client care to more acutely ill adults in a variety of settings.
