Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed for the California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) the emphasis is placed on health assessment across the lifespan, family communication, patient education, teamwork and collaboration, role transition, clinical judgment, and management of care. The course introducesnursingconceptsand roles of the registered nurse in various health care settings. Content builds upon the fundamentals, medical-surgical, obstetrical and pediatric nursing content the student received in their vocational nursing program.
