Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis interdisciplinary, field-based course explores regional topics in the physical environment, natural resources, and ecology. It covers study design, statistical methods, and sampling techniques, with hands-on field labs in land surveying, aquatic studies, soil and vegetation assessments, and wildlife monitoring. Key topics include survey skills (GIS, topographic maps), vegetation sampling (transects, quadrats), terrestrial wildlife methods (radio telemetry, remote cameras, trapping), and aquatic ecology techniques (water quality assessment).
