Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course covers the structure and management of the Large Group/ Circle Time component of Early Childhood Programs, including application of circle time techniques to support Social/Emotional Development, Language Development, Creative Development. Developing creative outdoor learning environments including playgrounds, activities and cooperative games will be included. This course also covers the legal requirements for playgrounds as well as techniques for moving the inside classroom outdoors, the benefits of nature on development, and sharing outside spaces with children.
