Laboratory techniques in the investigation of these chemical systems will be extensively developed, including experiments utilizing calorimetry to determine the enthalpy change associated with physical and chemical processes, fundamental gas laws analyzing pressure, volume, and temperature relationships, and acid-base chemistry utilizing titration analysis.
