    Description
    This course covers the history, structure, metabolism, genetics and ecology of microscopic life forms and explores their relationship to disease, immunology, agriculture and industry. Laboratory emphasizes the development of techniques for the detection, isolation, and identification of both harmless and pathogenic species.
