    Description
    This course is an introductory level course in the Public Safety Pathway. It is designed to prepare students for work in entry-level positions in Public Safety through classroom instruction, hands-on training and community experience. The careers included in this course primarily address law enforcement, fire protection, public safety dispatch, and emergency medical services. Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include basic academic skills, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, workplace safety, technology, lifetime health, nutrition, fitness and employment literacy. Grades are P/NP Option.
