It addresses the relationship between hormones, neurochemicals, physiology, and brain processes and other psychological aspects such as mental health, emotion, sensation/perception, learning, and human development. The foundations for research principles and ethical treatment of subjects are covered alongside the historical and current approaches for researching how the brain guides behavior and other mental processes.
