    Description
    This course is the third and final course sequence designed to build skills from Piano II. The third course includes more deliberate work on music notation, expanded rhythm base to include 8th notes, dynamics, upbeats, basic piano techniques, major and minor full octave scales, sight-reading, basic I-IV-V harmonic progressions and expanded chord progression with dominant chords in a few different tonal centers, with all melodies now being performed in expanded range of an octave. Students will expand knowledge of keyboard harmony and theory, sight reading, and keyboard repertoire, including solo and ensemble performances.
