    Description
    Introduction to floral design including the principles and elements of design, color theory, preparation, care of flowers and foliage plants, and formation of basic floral arrangements used in industry. Includes applied art principles, cut flower care, handling practices, use of florist tools and materials, pricing of floral products, and use of current floral business technology. Construction of corsages, floral arrangements, and foliage plant items. This is a non-credit course; students that require credit for the Environmental Horticulture Certificate should take the credit version (ENVHR 51).
