Emphasis on writers of diverse backgrounds. Writers include, among others, Charles Dickins, Jane Austen, Christina Rossetti, Virginia Woolf, Jean Rhys, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Special attention will be paid to major literature genres, themes, and historical backgrounds.
