    Description
    This is the second course in a two-course sequence designed to prepare intermediate-level or higher ESL students for a career working with young children, with special emphasis on vocabulary and entry level skills acquisition as well as familiarity with common phrases for interacting with English-speaking children, staff, and parents. Topics include infant, toddler, preschooler, and school-age child development. This course is intended to prepare students for the Child Studies credit program to complete courses to meet licensing requirements for adults working with young children. Satisfactory Progress
