    Description
    This is the first course in a two-course sequence designed to prepare intermediate level ESL students for a career working with young children. Emphasis is on acquiring vocabulary to communicate with children, parents, and teaching staff regarding issues related to childcare, general health, and safety. This course is intended to prepare students for the Child Studies credit program to complete courses to meet licensing requirements for adults working with young children. Satisfactory Progress
