The course content facilitates students' hearing and comprehending of English vocabulary in order to accurately write the spoken word for reporting, captioning, transcription, and proofreading careers. Vocabulary building, pronunciation, and spelling are emphasized. Stenographic machine writing and voice writing options are discussed.
