Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is intended for students who desire additional support in Math 1, Pre-Calculus Algebra. The course provides students with "just in time" support of algebra topics needed to be successful in Pre-Calculus algebra. It is only for students who are concurrently enrolled in Pre-Calculus Algebra, Math 1, at West Valley College. Topics include operations of real numbers, algebraic properties, manipulation of algebraic expressions, solving algebraic equations, inequalities, graphs of equations in two variables, functions and their properties, and problem-solving strategies.
