    Description
This course examines stress from multiple perspectives and considers the biological, psychological, and sociological aspects. A theoretical framework is developed to examine theories and strategies that address the cognitive, physiological, and behavioral components of stress across the lifespan in our contemporary world. The course emphasizes the development of strategies to enhance academic, personal, and social development. Diversity and stress are examined, as well as the relation of the stress process to health, disease, lifestyle, and the sociocultural environment.
