Description: This American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED course prepares individuals to respond to life-threatening emergencies, injuries, and sudden illness. This course covers CPR for adults, children, and infants, the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators), and basic first aid. Scenarios are provided to facilitate discussion, analysis, and application of appropriate care in first aid emergencies.
