Five geographic areas surveyed include: Africa, Asia/Pacific Islands, Europe, North and South America. Students are introduced to the major historical events and trends in world history from 1500. Historical analysis and interpretations are surveyed through comparative examination of the economic, cultural, political, social and technological commonalities and differences between human societies.
