Five geographic regions surveyed include: Asia/Pacific Islands, Africa, Europe, North America and South America. Students are introduced to the major historical trends and developments in World History from Prehistory to 1500. The methods of historical analysis and interpretation are addressed through survey of cultural, economic, political, social and technological similarities and differences between civilizations.
