This course covers culture and facilitates language acquisition through high-level listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Content is expanded beyond "survival" needs of the immediate environment and covers intermediate linguistic functions such as expressing personal opinions, offering suggestions on familiar topics, and making plans, as well as conversing on some abstract issues.
