- Prerequisite: FDAT 044, 052A & 070. Advisory: FDAT 056, 058. This course explores the creative process of apparel design and the development of groups and collections. Students have the opportunity to learn the process of designing for specific markets, seasons, and price categories, and to develop designs within their chosen area of interest. Methods of organizing and presenting design concepts are stressed.
