    This second course in the series offers a deepened understanding of networking concepts and practices, building on foundational skills. The courses covers advanced device configuration to teach students how to configure switches and routers, VLANs, and Inter-VLAN routing. Instructors introduce concepts such as Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and EtherChannel for enhancing network redundancy and bandwidth. Students have an opportunity to explore IP addressing, DHCP for both IPv4 and IPv6, and understand how to configure and troubleshoot static and default routes. In addition, the course introduces First Hop Redundancy Protocols (FHRP), emphasizing High Availability with HSRP. Students are encouraged to gain practical experience in securing LANs through endpoint security and Layer 2 security measures. Finally, instructors provide information about Wireless LAN concepts, how to configure a WLAN, and CAPWAP operations, preparing students for real-world networking challenges and the CCNA certification exam.
