Students have the opportunity to learn about the biodiversity of California in both the classroom and field settings. Natural history, ecology, stewardship, and conservation of select regions of California are covered. Class meetings are supplemented by field trip(s). Students must successfully complete class preparatory requirements in order to participate in any overnight field trip(s).
