    Description
This course considers the origin and evolution of life on Earth and the possibility of life elsewhere in the Universe. Applying the disciplines of astrophysics, biology, geology, and planetary science, students have the opportunity to study the chemical basis for life and the the limits of life on earth, and to look for the markers of life in other places in the solar system. The course also examines the possibilities for life outside of the solar system.
