Students are given an opportunity to examine unique issues raised by race, class, and gender in relation to crime and the criminal justice system. This course provides guidance for self-reflection and analysis of unconscious bias and institutional racism as they relate to class, gender, sexuality, race, national origin, immigration status in Native American, African American, Asian American and Latino/a American communities.
