    Foundations (2.5) CSU This course offers an introduction to the fundamentals of appraising for property tax purposes. It reviews the various appraisal approaches and significant appraisal principles for all types of property. The course also covers the economic aspects and legal definitions of market value and California property tax laws. This course is one of courses that meet the requirement for the Los Angeles County Assessors Appraiser Trainee Certification Program.
