The course presents the process of achieving set goals and objectives in a formal organization. The course objectives include: (1) To provide the student with a basic framework of the subject matter through an overview of how an enterprise is organized and managed. (2) To develop student sensitivity to the four key tools of management - planning, organizing, influencing, controlling. (3) To introduce learning tracks by which students will appreciate the essence of management activities throughout the process and activities related to production, distribution, finance and administration, and decision-making.
