Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIn this course, students will learn efficient research skills. These skills will enable students to find, evaluate, and appropriately cite academically acceptable resources, thereby avoiding the dreaded 'p'-word, plagiarism. That said, are there sources that cannot be used for a research paper--as long as they are properly documented? Students will learn and appreciate the freedom that the simple implementation of MLA (and other) documentation style(s) offers. The course will prepare students to mount effective research campaigns in other classes.
