    DENTAL HYGIENE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS This course is designed to provide knowledge in anatomical concepts of deciduous and permanent dentition. Emphasis is on comparative coronal and root anatomy, dental terminology, tooth morphology, the relationship of occlusion and function of the maxilla and mandible, and the role of occlusion to supporting facial musculature and other oral structures.
