This course covers issues central to community dental health such as access to care, supply and demand, quality assurance, health financing, health policy, and community program development. This course includes a practicum component and is designed to provide experience in program planning and implementation at various governmental and community settings. Smoking cessation and the recognition and reporting of abuse as mandated reporters are integrated.
