    This course covers fundamental principles of event-driven programming for Windows applications using Visual Basic and Windows applications with graphical user interfaces. Topics covered by the course include controls and their properties, methods and events; basic data types and variables; subroutines and functions; scope; control structures; building graphical user interfaces; and interfacing with the Windows CREDIT COURSE LISTINGS & DESCRIPTIONS operating system. Object linking and embedding (OLE) and multimedia also are introduced
