    The student will be introduced to school-age programs. It is designed for those planning to work in before and after school childcare. Topics to be covered will include growth and development, creative experiences, and developmentally CREDIT COURSE LISTINGS & DESCRIPTIONS appropriate practices and environments. Techniques for guiding children's behavior and communication will be discussed. Appropriate administration and staffing for school age programs will be analyzed and discussed. This course deals with children kindergarten through school age.
