Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course presents the philosophy and methods related to working with young children and families within a diverse society, including race, language, culture, gender, age social class and children with special needs. Curriculum development and environmental designs will be studied from an inclusive perspective. This course takes an in depth and retrospective approach in processing the student to a position where they have the skills and knowledge necessary to infuse multicultural activities and literature as well as anti-bias perspective into the fabric of the curriculum, teaching modalities, and materials in an Early Childhood educational program.
