Transfers ToCSUDescriptionCSU Required for Teaching Permit. Students design and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments for young children from birth to age 8. Based on the value of play, students demonstrate the teacher's role in applying theory to practice in supporting children's concept development. Preparing and assessing the implementation of curriculum will include but not be limited to: language and literacy, social studies, art and creativity, music and rhythm, perceptual motor development, mathematics, natural and physical sciences.
