    Description
    UC/CSU Students will be introduced to Linguistic Anthropology. Students will survey the great variety of ways humans communicate both verbally and non-verbally. The course focuses on the phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics of language, the relation of language to social, cultural, and psychological factors, the evolution of language abilities, and historical linguistics.
