    Description
    (3) UC/CSU This course presents students with an anthropological understanding of the varieties of lifestyles in human societies throughout the world, from nomadic foragers to complex state- level societies such as our own. The varied forms of marriage and the family, economic, political, and legal arrangements, religious expressions and art forms are examined in their own contexts and compared with others.
